Mind with body, lifestyle with genetics, and your little toe with your ear. A medical system that connects everything explains everything. An accurate understanding of problems is the first step toward wellness.
Two thousand years ago, Chinese medicine divorced itself from magical thinking, and embraced empirical testing. In one unbroken written language, doctor after doctor would test hypotheses and record the results. Over time, the theory took on a highly consistent and logical character.
You do not need college degrees or years of study to grasp the concepts, which are couched in simple, day-to-day, English-language terminology everybody can understand and use. This lends itself very well to health coaching.
No matter the place or time, Chinese medicine puts it all together. Chinese influence and culture will continue to spread around the world. As it does, the precious gift of Chinese medical theory based on the theory of yin and yang will come to play a central role in health and wellness.
Emergency medicine, aka conventional medicine, will remain the gold standard for emergencies and heroic interventions. But it will lose its dominance in the minds of the people.
will become the universal language of health care for the world's population, while the language and theory of emergency medicine will be the exclusive purview of trained specialists and technicians.

“The physician who teaches people to sustain their health is the superior physician. The physician who waits to treat people after their health is damaged is considered to be inferior. This is like waiting until one’s family is starving to begin to plant seeds in the garden."
