Fitness of mind and body are two sides of the same coin.

In my 40 years of clinical experience, I have noticed that you cannot be mentally fit and a physical wreck at the same time. Likewise, you cannot be physically fit and a mental wreck at the same time.

The triad of physical fitness

Maintain or Increase the thickness of muscles, bones, tendons, and the walls of the heart chambers.  A strong body builds confidence.


Your strength workout will build or maintain physical fitness in 20 minutes, 1-2 times per week, and will put you on the road to good health.

Increase the volume of the heart chambers.  

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT),  every second or third day, will provide the quickest results for aerobic fitness and good health.  


Your interval-training workout will last 

8-12 minutes, 2-3 times per week.

Flexibility training can be performed as often as you like.  Yoga combined with foam rolling provides best results for physical fitness.


A great flexibility workout can take as little as

30 minutes, three times per week.
